Today, the Ufa Oil Refinery annually processes 6 million tons of oil. At the same time, they produce not only gasoline, but also summer and winter diesel fuel and fuel oil. In total, nearly 6,000 people work in the Ufa branch of Bashneft.

“We have no problems with personnel,” said Anton Zaitsev, the Director of the company’s division. – “If from regions that are close to Moscow, people go to the capital and there is a staff deficit, we are all right. Many people work for 15-20 years with one installation.”

Today the Kronospan company, which has more than 100-year history, actively works with dealers in regions of Kazakhstan and hopes for further cooperation, including with Pavlodar Oblast.

“Now we are building a plant for the production of OSB – slabs of large chips, which will be launched in a month,” said Barysh Jan, the Commercial Director of Kronospan-Bashkortostan. – “For export we ship 56% of the products to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and China. Also we plan to arrange supplies to South America.”

In Ufa, the Kronospan company’s base is located in the Ufimsky industrial park, where investors are exempted from property tax and part of the profit tax. As Bulat Bakauov noted, in Pavlodar there is a similar special economic zone where residents can rely on tax preferences. He invited the businessmen of Bashkortostan for cooperation, noting that he is ready to give them all possible support.
