Let There Be Water!

Construction of water pipelines is performed in the villages Severnoye, Kyzylzhar, Lugovoe, Karakuduk and in the village named after Isa Baizakov. When they start working, about 3.3 thousand people will have access to central water supply and 80% of the region’s population will be provided with centralized drinking water.

“In the village Severnoye, we started construction at the end of last year,” – Talgat Akdauletov, the Director of the contractor Ken Asar, LLP, told to Bulat Bakauov. – “The length of the water pipe is 18.4 kilometres, 92% of the main water pipeline and 60% of the service networks have already been completed. 123 houses are already connected to the mainline.”

Serik Batyrguzhinov, the Akim of the District, mentioned that for today, the work on confirming the water storage capacity is continued in 4 villages, and exploratory works are performed in 3 villages. The Head of the Region said that the issue of centralized water supply arrangement at the places should be kept under constant control.
