A Present for Children

A grant of KZT 50 million was presented to preschool gymnasium No. 122 at last year’s August conference. In such a way the Oblast’s leadership encouraged the staff of the pre-school institution for achievements in ensuring the quality of education. In a kindergarten where 180 children are brought up, it was decided to make a repair and to update the equipment on the given grant.

“We bought bunk beds for children’s bedrooms, equipped a sports hall, opened a multimedia room, chess and robotics cabinets, purchased interactive whiteboards,” – says Galiya Kurmanova, the Head of the preschool gymnasium No. 122. – “We have four new sites: a football and a playground, a concert and an intellectual zone. In addition, we have a children’s motorway, on which we will teach children the rules of the road. Earlier there were simple playgrounds with already obsolete elements here.”

The Head of the Oblast has also visited the renovated children’s gymnasium. Bulat Bakauov noted that in addition to this pre-school institution, three more educational organizations in the towns and villages of Irtysh Land had received grants of the Oblast Akim.

“We will continue the practice of allocating such grants because there is a visible effect,” – he said. – “This year we have also provided KZT 200 million for the promotion of the best educational institutions.”

The Akim stressed that modern playgrounds should be installed not only in kindergartens but also in yards. This year, 10 large playgrounds are being presented in different micro-districts of Pavlodar, for the building of which KZT 100 million has been allocated.
