Prosper, Our Dear Astana!

The Head of the Oblast Bulat Bakauov congratulated everyone who gathered in the House of Friendship. In his speech, he noted that the Kazakh capital has become a centre of attraction, where all political, commercial and cultural paths intersect.

“Astana has become a pearl of Eurasia,” – he said. – “Today it admires not only our fellow citizens but also all the guests of Kazakhstan. In the territory of our capital hundreds of major international forums have been held: the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, the OSCE Summit and the International Exhibition EXPO-2017.

Having completed the speech, the Akim handed over jubilee medals to more than 30 residents of Pavlodar Oblast. Among them are statesmen, voluntary helpers, agricultural workers and many others. Then, a Kazakh pop singer Altynai Zhorabayeva took the stage for the guests of the holiday.
