Nursultan Nazarbayev Visited Pavlodar on a Working Trip

In Pavlodar, Special Economic Zone, the President was informed about the development of the aluminium cluster. He was also presented with export-oriented enterprises successfully operating in foreign markets. One of them is CHH, LLP, which produces foundry products for the railway, agriculture and oil and gas industry.

“We produce anchors, which are used in the construction of the railway with the speed of the train up to 300 kilometres per hour,” – said the company’s Director Yevgeny Moskalev. – “These products are used for the construction of European railways. Today, Kazakhstan is actively building housing, and we are ready to provide builders with aluminium radiators in the amount of 1 million sections per year. Our plans are to produce up to 4 million sections annually.”

“We will support you,” – Nursultan Nazarbayev told him.

At KazEnergoKabel, JSC, the Head of the State was informed about the prospects of the enterprise development and showed samples of its products. Today, this plant is the largest domestic producer of cable and wire products. In the future, the company wants to expand the use of modern materials to improve product quality and develop a series of enterprise standards using the latest achievements of science and technology.

At the oil refinery, the President was introduced to the results of the modernization of the enterprise.

“The project cost us at KZT 180.5 billion,” – said Daniyar Tiesov, the Deputy Chairman of the board of KazMunayGas, JSC. – “This amount is several times lower than the initial assessment, which was conducted by Italian specialists. Instead of building new installations, we have modernized the existing installations to the maximum. At the same time, today the plant produces K-4 and K-5 products, the production of aviation kerosene was resumed and all gasoline produced by us is high-octane.”

In addition, the top manager of the national company told how digitalization is being introduced on the ground.

“If before the oil refineries were operating in each workshop, today the management of enterprises is conducted from the same premises,” – he said. – “The operator receives all information from technological installations, bypassing human processing. Another issue is the enhancement of the culture of exploitation. The analysis of incidents in our plants shows that in 90% of cases the human factor becomes the cause.”

“Digitalization should exclude such things, then everything will work clearly according to schedule,” – stressed Nursultan Nazarbayev. – “Implement digitalization so that it will be possible to control from one point, automatics  to work and productivity to rise.”
