Today in Pavlodar Irtysh Land a three-day “Uly Dala” ethno-festival started.

“Uly Dala” ethno-festival is a unique event within the framework of “Bolashakka Bagdar: Rukhani Zhangyru” program article of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev. The scientific-practical conference opened the program of “Uly Dala” international ethno-festival in Pavlodar. About a thousand people gathered in the Palace of Culture named after Yestai, among them were state and public figures, teachers, scientists.

  «Today’s conference is dedicated to the anniversary of outstanding personalities,» – the Akim of Pavlodar Oblast Bulat Bakauov said in his welcoming speech, – «The 350th anniversary of Bukhar Zhyrau, the 200th anniversary of Musa Shormanov, the 160th anniversary of Mashkhur Zhussup Kopeyev, the 150th anniversary of Yestai Berkimbayev, the 125th anniversary of Sultanmakhmut Toraigyrov . They have made an invaluable contribution to the spiritual development of not only our region, but the whole country.»

    The Oblast Akim also told that the mausoleum of Musa Shormanov is being built in Tendik village of Bayanaul District, works on the reconstruction of the mausoleum of Yestai Berkimbayev are being conducted in Aktogay district. Recently, a digital version of Mashkhur Zhussup Kopeyev’s twenty-volume edition was presented. Overhaul was carried out at the Sultanmakhmut Toraigyrov Museum. More than 130 articles from scientists from different countries of the world, including from the USA, Hungary, Russia, Mongolia, Lithuania and Ukraine, as well as the regions of Kazakhstan, have been sent to the organizing committee.
