II Republican Forum of Credit Associations Started in Pavlodar

About 200 participants arrived at the forum, organized by Agrocredit Corporation, JSC. Among them were representatives of 12 credit partnerships of Pavlodar Oblast, which are in good standing in the republic.

“When we opened our credit partnership 14 years ago, our loan portfolio was only KZT 60 million,”- said the Head of Azhbolat, credit partnership from Uspenka District, Kadyl Naukenov. – “Today this amount has grown to KZT 1 billion. We issue loans in almost all areas, from upgrading technology to the acquisition of renewable energy sources.”

As the Deputy Head of the Oblast Dauren Makhazhanov said today, credit partnerships are necessary for the development of agriculture. Because the banks do not want to finance the subjects of the agro-industrial complex at the proper level.

“The scheme of lending through credit partnerships has proved itself to be affordable and reliable,” said the Deputy Akim. – “Currently, the share of the overdue debt is only 4%, this is three times less than in the banking sector. If last year the credit partnerships of our region, which includes about 700 participants, issued 240 loans, then in the first half of this year 360 loans were issued. We are convinced that this is far from the limit, and with due attention, the credit partnerships of the region can become real financial institutions that will finance small and medium-sized businesses in rural areas.”

The program of the forum includes panel sessions and training for employees of credit partnerships. In addition, experts from Russia and Poland will share their experience of credit cooperation with their Kazakh counterparts.
