Anuar Kumpekeyev Became the Akim of Pavlodar
The new Akim of the Oblast center was introduced by the Head of the Oblast Bulat Bakauov in the city Akimat. He noted that his candidacy was coordinated with the Administration of the President and deputies of the city maslikhat. The Oblast Akim immediately set a number of priority tasks to the new subordinate.
«Pavlodar should remain an attractive investment city,» – Bulat Bakauov said. – «It is also necessary to work on the implementation of the program of forced industrial-innovative development, pay attention to the development of small and medium-sized businesses, and form an industrial zone of the city. It is necessary to develop and actively use the mechanisms of public-private partnership. It is necessary to continue work on high-quality development of Saryarka and Dostyk microdistricts and already now to get involved in the process of preparing the city for the heating season.»
We are to recall, the former Akim of Pavlodar Nurzhan Ashimbetov was appointed the Governor of Ekibastuz.
Anuar Kumpekeyev was born in 1984 in Pavlodar. In 2005 he graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University, with the specialty of Bachelor of Economics. In 2007 he received a master’s degree in economic policy from Bradford University (Great Britain). In 2016 he graduated from Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University. He is a graduate of Bolashak international scholarship of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In different years he worked as a leading chief specialist in the Department of Economics and Finance of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Director of the Marketing and Commercialization Department, the Director of the Strategic Development Department of the National Center for Biotechnology of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Director of the Department of Science and Technology Policy and Regulation, the Managing Director of Kazakhstan Center for Modernization and the development of housing and communal services. From 2012 to 2015 he was the Deputy Akim of the city of Stepnogorsk, Akmola Oblast. In May 2015, he was appointed to the post of the Akim of this city.
