Happy Miner’s Day!
Bulat Bakauov took part in a solemn meeting dedicated to the Miner’s Day. Congratulating the miners, he noted that Pavlodar rOblast still fully meets all domestic needs of the economy in coal and ensures a high level of its exports. To date, the region has produced more than 30.8 million tons of coal, which is 5.5% more than last year.
“Your profession was and remains one of the most important and necessary in our region,” – Bulat Bakauov told the audience in the hall of the culture center. – “Thanks to the miners’ work, industry and transport work, and warmth comes to our homes. The miners selflessly continue to inscribe their names in the history of the coal enterprises of Ekibastuz. Your glorious work remains an example of selflessness and nobility. Courage, strength and firmness of spirit are the main differences between people who have chosen the profession of a miner.”
On behalf of the Head of the Oblast, miners who distinguished themselves in the work were awarded letters of commendation and thank-you letters. Especially for the heroes of the day on stage were the Kazakh pop stars Alisher Karimov and Diana Sharapova.
