A Mining Center Was Opened in Ekibastuz
As the Head of the Oblast was told, the center that extracts the most popular crypto-currency has been working for two months. The enterprise operates on special Chinese equipment and consumes about 15 megawatts of electricity.
“Now the production of crypto-currency in Kazakhstan is very urgent,” – says the project manager Anuar Sarsenov. – “There is a surplus of electricity in the country, which makes it possible to attract new investments in similar energy-consuming projects. Our company employs 16 people who have been trained in China.»
Today in the center there is one so-called bitcoin mining farm. In the near future, the company plans to expand.
