Hello, School!

In all schools celebratory assemblies began with the ceremony of raising the national flag. In each case, this honorable mission was entrusted to schoolchildren, who distinguished themselves by their achievements in studies and sport. At school-lyceum No. 8, the flag was fixed on the flagpole by the tenth-grader Vladislav Cherdantsev and the eleventh-grader Zhanibek Dzhumadiev, who more than once became winners and prize-winners of republican and international olympiads.

«We are witnesses and participants in a rapidly changing world, and only qualitative knowledge and ability to apply them in life make it possible to become successful,» – Pavlodar Oblast Akim Bulat Bakauov said addressing to schoolchildren and teachers. – «Today the education system is trying to find a solution to modern challenges and this solution is functional literacy. Functional literacy of schoolchildren is a way of social orientation of the person, where education is connected with human activity. Pavlodar Oblast is a large industrial center of Kazakhstan, and for its further development we need skilled personnel with the main functional skills.»

This year, all the schools in the region have gathered the first classes with education in Kazakh language. At the same time, a lyceum class was opened in school-lyceum No. 8. In addition, the educational institution presented an updated teacher’s room in the Teacher office format, a cabinet of robotics and classes where first-graders will study.
