The Akim of Pavlodar Oblast Is Concerned about the Safety of Renovated Roads in the Region

Last year the Head of the region said that it was necessary to place a great deal of focus on the safety of the repaired roadway. Today this issue is still topical, in 2018 for the improvement and repair of roads more than KZT12.4 billion have been allocated only from the regional budget! At the same time, the overloaded multitones continue to drive around the areas already commissioned. When they began to understand the situation, it became clear that in the case when one car carries more cargo than the weight of the vehicle allows, the transport inspection issues a special permit. At the same time, it is not important that in a truck – a dividend or an undivided load – the carrier can always rely on this paid state service. The cost of the special permit is KZT58 thousand, it is issued for a period of up to 6 months. That is, in fact, a private trader can transport oversize within six months for KZT325 per day.

“Recently, I drove along Shaldai – Vostochnoye road, which was repaired two years ago,” – said the Akim. – “So, it is already broken. Therefore, the issuance of special permits in case of overloads with divisible goods must be banned! This document should be issued only for cargo, which is “monolith” by their physical parameters and engineering solution or which cannot be transported separately.”

Among other things, the Head of the region demanded that specialists and police check the issued special permits for their forgery. For more thorough control of the cargo trucks, 3 specially equipped cars totalling KZT100 million were purchased for the transport inspection. Already in the near future, they will arrive in Pavlodar. One of them will work on the area of the course between Kalkaman and Maikain, along which gravel is transported to all direction
