Abylkair Skakov held a meeting with the rectors of the universities

Akim of Pavlodar region told about the need to improve work efficiency in the field of protection and promotion of individual and collective health at the online meeting with the heads of the regional universities.

Abylkair Skakov asked academic community to help to fight against COVID-19. Except the heavy volume of work, medical personnel faced misunderstanding and even criticism from some people. Instead of doctors' recommendations, people often trust messages from the social networks, many of them are fakes or provocations. According to akim of the region, representatives of the academic community could provide support to medical workers and, in general, help to stabilize the epidemiological situation.

“Our strategic goal is to raise the level of medical education in the region. The issues of protection and promotion of individual and collective health are top-priority today as never before. You cannot stay on the sidelines, our common purpose is to help doctors in this difficult time”, Abylkair Skakov noted.

The participants of the meeting have supported akim and expressed readiness to help medical workers.
