Triage center and temporary hospitals for 800 beds opened in Pavlodar region on July 2

The center for diagnosing patients was opened in the Sports Palace “Bayantau” in Pavlodar and additional temporary hospitals - in the prevention and treatment facilities in Moiyldy and Aksu. Akim of the region Abylkair Skakov controlled it.

The triage center started working in Pavlodar on July, 2. It was opened in the Sports Palace “Bayantau” (150 beds). Nowadays, emergency medical service teams bring patients to “Bayantau”, where experienced doctors diagnose patients and send them to the hospitals. The center is divided into 2 parts: so-called "clean" and "dirty", it meets all sanitary and epidemiological requirements.

“Opening of the triage center should help the hospitals and ambulance stations with work. The experienced doctors will accept decisions on hospitalization of patients. All medical workers must have personal safety equipment. The epidemiological safety is the top priority”, Abylkair Skakov said.

The sanatorium “Moiyldy” has 500 temporary beds. According to the Department of Health and epidemiologists, the prevention and treatment facility has good access roads and all conditions for patients. It is planned to hospitalize not seriously ill patients in it.

70 beds have been put in the health center of “EEC” JSC (Aksu) and 80 ones in the medical center “Eurasia” (Aksu). These buildings have all conditions for comfortableness of patients. Thus, there are 800 temporary beds in Pavlodar region.

Akim of the region talked to medical personnel of all health facilities, he had visited, and charged workers of the emergency operations center to resolve all organizational issues. It will be recalled that the emergency operations center has been opened in the region to coordinate measures against COVID-19. It is headed by Abylkair Skakov and one of the most experienced health experts of the region, director of the regional oncology center Murat Suleimenov will coordinate measures on the issues of temporary hospitals.
