Warm and Cozy

First of all, Bulat Bakauov visited Aksu ferroalloy plant and learned how the local boiler house that serves the whole city works. Workers of the station said that there were no problems with the beginning of the heating season.

“We are fully ready for the winter,” – said Igor Kuleshov, the chief power engineer of AFP. – “At the moment, heating has already been submitted to kindergartens, schools and medical facilities. Since September 24, we will start filing in the houses. There should not be any problems with the heating.”

The Head of the region also visited Eurasian Energy Corporation, JSC, where the reconstruction of the power unit No. 5 is underway. To date, the company has already begun supplying heat to the village of Aksu.

“I can say that all heating stations in Pavlodar Oblast are ready for work, the corresponding passports of readiness are available,” – the Oblast Akim summed up. – “There is normative coal stock in the region, all social facilities are provided with solid fuel by 100%. At the same time, there are small delays in bringing coal to the private sector. We have repeatedly talked about this, and I want to focus once again on the fact that owners of private farmsteads should stock up on coal in advance. As coal on all sections and wholesale bases is available in sufficient quantity.”

Besides, Bulat Bakauov visited the construction site for the reconstruction of the house No. 58 on Astana Street. This high-rise building was built in the early 90’s, however, only two entrances from six were occupied. Since then, the other four doorways have been empty. In June of this year, builders came to the site, who began to restore 102 flats. According to representatives of the contract company AMB, LLP, today they are working on the insulation and bricking of the front wall and interior finishing in the entrances and apartments. Entry of the reconstructed part of the house into operation is planned for the end of the year.

In PHP micro-district, the Oblast Head met with those who started the construction of their house. It was reported that they started housing at 64 of 380 allocated sites for the construction.

“We set a requirement for each of those who received the site to prepare the foundation and walls this year, and in the next year to complete the construction work,” – said Nikolay Dychko to the Akim. – “We help those who build their own homes, and we will seize lots from those who do not build. Seized lots will be offered to others in waiting lists, who are ready to begin construction this year.”

By the way, employees of Aksu Ferroalloy Plant and EEC, JSC, which are part of ERG, received 50 lots in the micro-district of individual housing construction. The Oblast Akim offered to talk with the leadership of Eurasian Group so that workers would receive preferential loans for the construction of private housing.
