Pavlodar Oblast Akim Bulat Bakauov raised the issue of cable car readiness at a meeting on the provision of sports infrastructure. As it turned out, today on the cable car, which can carry 600 people per hour, adjustment work is already underway.

“It will take 3-4 days to set up,” – the Head of the specialized company Slavenko Badura said. – “After completion of all the work, the base will be able to receive up to 5 thousand people a day. We are talking about skiers, snowboarders, those who just go sledging or walking.”As the expert in the arrangement of the ski infrastructure said, Myrzashoky mountain is well suited for beginner athletes and, most importantly, for tourists. Therefore, this object can be the first sign on the development of winter tourism in Bayanaul District.

“This year, our task is to catch the first snow and start preparing the track,” – the Head of the region noted. – “After complete delivery of the base, we will definitely take a trip and test the ski track ourselves.”Also at the meeting, the issue of the availability of sports halls in schools and colleges was discussed. To date, they are ready to provide sites to outsiders, but only until 8 o’clock in the evening. At the same time, according to the data of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, the residents of the region would like to have the opportunity to practice indoors from 19-00 to 22-00. The Akim of the region instructed to make it so that everyone could play football or volleyball in the hall of the nearest educational institution.
