A Big Cleaning Up

During the month of improvement and sanitary cleaning of the city, from 15 to 20 thousand citizens, workers of about 2000 large enterprises and organizations of small and medium business, Deputies of the city maslikhat, employees of state institutions and educations went to the streets on a weekly basis. In addition, representatives of the local police service were involved, who carried out explanatory work on the “Rules for the improvement of the territory of the city of Pavlodar”. During the period of the month, more than 1.2 thousand tons of fertile soil and almost 650 tons of sand were delivered to the intra-quarter territory of 113 houses in Pavlodar.

During the big cleaning up of Pavlodar, about 2 thousand fir trees, birch trees, mountain ash, hawthorn, bird cherries, almonds, pine trees and pyramidal poplar were planted in the city. In the future square of salt-makers, which is being landscaped in the area of the River station, the Akim of Pavlodar Oblast together with the old-timers of the city planted 64 blue spruces. In addition, Bulat Bakauov planted an oak tree. The Head of the region laid a transplant of the “wise tree” in the park near the Nazarbayev Intellectual School.
