N. Nigmatulin Arrived in Pavlodar to Discuss the Implementation of the President’s Message

The Speaker of the Mazhilis visited Kazakhstan Aluminium Smelter JSС, where he got to know the work of the enterprise and met with the workers of the industrial giant. The plant with a production capacity of 250 thousand tons of products per year produces aluminium, aluminium ingots of technological purity. In addition to the domestic market, products are exported to more than 20 countries of the world, including Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, and European countries.

More than 10 years ago, the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev acted as the initiator of the construction of the plant, which from year to year increases its production capacity. Therefore, all the proposals of the Head of State find special support from the plant team. Employees of the company expressed their willingness to take the most active part in their implementation. Moreover, the President of Kazakhstan has designated export-oriented industrialization as a central element of economic policy.

“The manufacturing industry will be provided with unprecedented assistance, funds will be allocated for the modernization of the agricultural sector. Particular attention will be paid to the development of new technologies of the economy of the future. This year you have succeeded in further reduction of the cost of finished products. This speaks of the desire to improve the competitiveness of the enterprise, to be not just on an equal footing, but also among the world leaders. I am sure that in the near future Kazakhstan will export products with a higher value added,” – N. Nigmatulin said, addressing the workers of the aluminium smelter.

Speaking about the main directions of the President’s Message, the Speaker of the Mazhilis put an emphasis on the social initiatives of the Head of State.

“In terms of its importance, the current Message of the President ranks with the Strategies “Kazakhstan-2030” and “Kazakhstan-2050”. It determines the development of our society for many years to come. According to the scale of the goals set, according to the set rates of change and in their social orientation, this program document has no precedents. Successful implementation of the Message will allow us in the foreseeable future to achieve a rise in the standard of living and well-being of all Kazakhstan citizens,” – Nurlan Nigmatulin expressed confidence.

The Chairman of the Mazhilis also assured that the priority directions of the Message will be the main guidelines of the legislative work of the Parliament.
