Asain Baykhanov checked the progress of the heating season and the elimination of the consequences of bad weather in Ekibastuz

The issue of stable heat supply is under constant control of the head of the region, who once again visited the city of miners today.

Akim inspected the work of the Ekibastuz thermal power plant, where, due to a hurricane, on the night of November 18-19, the power supply of substations powered by GRES-1 was disrupted. Promptly, by five in the morning, the power supply was resumed, the heat supply was stabilized.

At the Ekibastuz thermal power plant, out of 10 existing boilers, 6 were overhauled and 2 were under current repair. The CHP is operating normally and provides the necessary heat supply parameters. The work on the remaining two boilers has been completed, and commissioning is underway by the end of this month.

At a meeting on the progress of the heating season, Asain Baykhanov noted that there was no damage on the new networks that were changed this year. As the akim of Ekibastuz reported, on behalf of the head of the region, specialists of the housing inspectorate, together with thermal engineers, carried out work on high-rise buildings, whose residents addressed issues of underfloor heating. To date, there are no systemic problems associated with urban heating networks of the Moscow Railways.

- It is necessary to react promptly in each case. High—quality and uninterrupted heat supply is our main task. I instruct you to keep the situation in the terminal residential buildings under constant control and observe the temperature regime at social facilities," the head of the region said.

Also during the working trip, Asain Baykhanov visited the facilities affected by the bad weather. In nursery-garden No. 20 and gymnasium school No. 7, rafters and roof were partially destroyed due to heavy winds. Construction work is underway there now. Restoration of roofs is carried out with funds from the reserve allocated to eliminate the consequences of an emergency.
