 Snowfalls Are Not Dreaded

The Head of the Department of Energy and Housing and Utilities told at an extended meeting of the Oblast Akimat about how the streets of the three cities will be cleaned in winter. According to him, utility companies are provided with 365 units of specialized equipment, and 21 pumping machines and 410 workers who will be involved in cleaning the appliance.

“In the winter season, about 80% of the hits coming to my blog are related to underheating, lack of hot water and poor snow removal from the streets,” – the Oblast Head, Bulat Bakauov said. – “Therefore, all our services need to pay special attention to these issues.”

The Akim also said that since the beginning of the heating season, 29 complaints have already been received on the official blog platform of the Oblast.

“They also appeal to me at the reception desk, complaining that they are not responding to their calls in the city services,” – Bulat Bakauov said. – “People say that at the other end of the wire they simply don’t take the tubes. We have hotlines, and work to solve such questions!”

Also in the Akimat, they discussed the work of the police. In particular, the Head of the Oblast police department, Amantay Aubakirov, told about the changes that will occur in the work of law enforcement agencies after the reform of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which is expected from the beginning of 2019.

“From January 1, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will undergo a major reform,” – he said. – “All police officers will be certified, they will be subject to increased requirements. In this part, we are already preparing personnel to increase the responsibility and quality of work of our employees.”

According to the chief police officer of the region, in the near future, the city and district police stations will be provided with a front office and a dog service. In addition, a centre for migration services is planned to open in Pavlodar.
