Akim of the region Asain Baykhanov visited the May district on a working trip

The head of the region got acquainted with the progress of the construction of a pontoon bridge across the Belaya tributary in the village of Baskol, where the haymaking grounds of residents are on the other bank and hay was taken out in winter by ice crossing. The problem should be solved by a pontoon bridge, which the villagers have been asking for more than one year. Construction and installation works are underway here now. The pontoon bridge of the girder system of the superstructure with a length of 60.0 m cost 203.8 million tenge. Asain Baykhanov inspected the installation of plashcoats and masts, instructed to take into account the importance of the bridge for local residents, not to delay the work.

Then the akim of the region got acquainted with the activities of IP "Dimash". The entrepreneur received a loan of 6.0 million tenge under the program "Auyl Amanaty". He manufactures minitractors and loaders, motorhomes, cattle trailers.

During the trip, the head of the region checked the operation of the new block-modular boiler house of the Koktyubinsk secondary school. In the village of Maytubek, I visited a medical center after major repairs, visited the Communication and Information Center of the village of Maytubek. Here, the akimat building has been turned into a modern information and communications center. Work with the population is conducted on the principle of "one window". Now the villagers do not need to go to the district center for advice and certificates. 

The head of the region also inspected the repair work of the Atameken-Aksu-Bolshoy Akzhar-Kurchatov road of republican significance. The total length of the road is 216 km. In 2023, 45 km were repaired, so today 195 km or 95% are in good condition. It is planned to upgrade the remaining 21 km of the roadway and thereby complete the project by 100% in 2024-2025.
