The Day of the agricultural worker was solemnly celebrated in the Pavlodar region
Employees of the agro-industrial complex from all over the region gathered at the Estai Palace of Culture. An exhibition of agricultural machinery, new technologies, and food products is also organized here.
Asain Baykhanov warmly congratulated Pavlodar farmers, stressing that this holiday is celebrated as a sign of deep respect for everyone who works on the land, feeds thousands of people.
- In order to maintain the pace and ensure the development of agriculture, it is necessary to continue the diversification of agriculture. It is in agriculture, in the processing and production of its own products that the reserves of the village are concentrated today. This is not only the food security of the country, but also the well–being of citizens and the health of the nation," Asain Baykhanov stressed.
The outgoing agricultural year was not easy for farmers. Adverse weather conditions affected hay harvesting and the condition of crops. In this connection, 3 billion tenge was allocated from the regional budget to subsidize forage harvesting. 6.2 billion tenge has been allocated from the Government reserve to repay previously formed debts on subsidies to over 1,300 peasant farms in the region. At the expense of the regional budget, a stabilization fund for cheaper feed grain was created at the SEC "Pavlodar".
The head of the region stressed that the akimat of the region will continue to pay the most serious attention to the agro-industrial complex. Irrigated agriculture is developing in the region, acreage is increasing, water-saving technologies are being introduced, and dynamic growth is noted in animal husbandry. And this is the result of the daily work of farmers.
Akim of the region thanked the village workers for their responsibility and dedication to their work. The best representatives of the agrarian sphere were awarded with state and regional awards: "Oblys aldyndagi sinirgen enbegi ushin", Certificates of Honor, Letters of Thanks from the akim of the region, the Minister of Agriculture. A number of agricultural enterprises received diplomas in the nominations.
In addition, on the festive day, the keys of 14 new official cars were handed over to the teams of veterinary stations of Bayanaul, May, Irtysh, Akkula, Aktogay, Zhelezinsky, Shcherbaktinsky districts, as well as the city of Ekibastuz and the regional veterinary station.
