A new school has been opened in Karazhar village of Bayanaul district
Today the Karazhars have a big holiday - a new school has opened. The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gani Beisembayev, Akim of Pavlodar region Asain Baykhanov, aksakals, villagers. Speaking at the opening, Minister of Education Gani Beisembayev noted that the state fulfills all obligations to improve the status of a teacher, develop infrastructure, create comfortable and safe conditions.
- By October 1 alone, 77 new schools with 78,500 student places have been opened across the country. We plan to increase this figure to 132 thousand new student places, which will solve the issues of 12 emergency and 29 three-shift schools, as well as the shortage of student places in 113 settlements. Within the framework of the national project "Comfortable School", it is planned to begin construction of 369 schools for 740 thousand places in the next three years. It is gratifying that business representatives do not stand aside in solving this issue," the chief teacher of the country stressed.
Asain Baykhanov congratulated the villagers on a significant event.
- I am very glad to open a new school in Karazhar. The village has prospects: starting from authentic tourism to a ski base on Myrzashoky. Now with the advent of a modern school, I hope young families will come to the village, because school is life, it is the future," the akim of the region said.
A new school was built to replace the old 1958 dilapidated "nine-year-old". It is designed for 100 seats. The construction of the facility, which began in the spring, cost 650 million according to a memorandum signed with the ERG group. The work was carried out by Eurotechnstroy-2003 LLP.
There are 11 classrooms in the two-storey building. The guests of the event also visited workshops, a gym, a conference hall, a small center, a dining room, and IT classes. The school yard with an outdoor playground is also landscaped. Now 72 children study at the Karazhar comprehensive school.
- The new school is the best gift for us, which will become a real intellectual and cultural center of the village — the villagers rejoice.
This is not the first school commissioned this year in the Pavlodar region. In September, the Magzhan Zhumabayev school was put into operation in the village of Moiseyevka of the Zhelezinsky district, it was also built instead of an emergency one.
In total, 6465.4 million tenge is provided from the budget for the modernization of 54 schools in 2023, including for current repairs, renovation of school furniture, modernization of canteens, libraries, and security. The modernization work has been completed by 100%. There has never been such a volume of school construction in the history of the region. And this cannot but affect the quality of the educational process, the country's chief teacher believes.
Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gani Beisembayev, who visited Pavlodar region on a working trip, met with deputies of the maslikhat of the region. The Minister listened to all suggestions and wishes, identifying priority tasks.
