The issues of land irrigation and attracting investments were considered today in the akimat of the region

The participants of the staff meeting discussed the development of irrigated agriculture. This year, due to transfers from non-irrigated types of land, with a plan of 9.0 thousand hectares, the irrigation area of the region increased by 15.8 thousand hectares and amounted to 166 thousand hectares.

Asain Baykhanov stressed that work in the field of agriculture should be built for the future, preventing possible risks and effectively using available resources.

The meeting also considered the issues of attracting investment. For 9 months of this year, the volume of investments amounted to 634.6 billion tenge.

The key emphasis in the support and implementation of investment projects is on the creation of permanent jobs.

Today there are 127 projects in the region with the creation of 9.7 thousand jobs, of which about 30% are highly qualified.

- Every investor is important to us. Our task is not only to attract investment, but also to open new jobs. Also, it is necessary to hold investment headquarters on a regular basis," the governor of the region instructed.
