The issues of housing construction development in the region were considered today in the regional akimat.

One of the most pressing issues that has not been resolved for a long time is the provision of housing for residents of the region who are in line to receive housing from the public housing fund. Today, there are more than 27 thousand waiting lists in the region, 90% of them are in cities. At the same time, the pace of housing construction is significantly inferior to the increasing number of waiting lists every year.

To solve this problem, the authorities have revised the concept of providing housing from the public housing stock. The purchase of apartments for waiting lists will be made directly from developers, which will significantly shorten the period for obtaining housing. So, in the city of Pavlodar, by the end of the 1st quarter of 2024, it is planned to purchase more than 400 apartments of rental housing for citizens from socially vulnerable segments of the population.

This year, the construction of the Saryarka MKR will be completed in the regional center. Through the renovation of old dilapidated housing, 42 multi-storey houses for 3,500 apartments were built here. By the end of the year, the builders plan to hand over the last 5 houses of the microdistrict (№28, 33, 39, 40, 41), apartments in which 286 displaced families will receive md. "Alluminstroy". The construction of houses in the new MKR continues. Dostyk, where 8 houses for 1014 apartments are being built. In Ekibastuz, 2 residential houses for 180 apartments are under construction, in Aksu – 5 houses for 522 apartments.

Asain Baykhanov instructed the construction department and akimats of cities to ensure high quality of construction work, as well as to work out such systematic problematic issues as late delivery of objects and the duration of the procedure for transferring apartments to owners.

Addressing the akims of the districts, the head of the region focused them on the social significance of housing provision and instructed them to work out housing construction projects in rural areas of the region, including within the framework of social responsibility of business.

Today, projects for the construction of twelve 24-apartment buildings are available in Aktogay, Zhelezinsky, Irtysh, Uspensky districts, as well as in the Terenkol district. These projects have been submitted to the Republican budget commission for consideration. If they are supported, this will provide housing for 288 people from among the waiting lists in rural areas.
