On hourly monitoring. How Ekibastuz is preparing for the start of the heating season

The heating season officially starts in Ekibastuz on October 1. The akim of the region personally monitors the process of starting heat in the city of miners.

Today, Asain Baykhanov checked the readiness of the networks to receive heat. At the moment, work has been completed here on conducting hydraulic tests of four reconstructed heating mains No. 2, 5, 8, 12, as well as flushing the network. The events were completed successfully. Now the highways are being filled with chemically purified water.

All damages identified during hydraulic tests in spring and autumn have been eliminated. The networks are ready to transfer thermal energy to provide heating and hot water supply.

- Tomorrow we plan to start the heat supply in the city. For this purpose, I came to Ekibastuz and plan to stay here for three days. During the launch, the work of heat engineers, power engineers and the local akimat will be focused on balancing the entire heat supply system. This is a rather technologically complex system that requires adjustment, so we will monitor it around the clock during the first days of October. All networks are ready. In total, there are about 400 km of networks in Ekibastuz, 74 km of them have been replaced, which is slightly less than 20%. The remaining 80%, unfortunately, are old networks and small damages are possible on them at startup, which will be promptly eliminated. We will not allow such a situation, which was last year," the governor of the region said.

In order to promptly eliminate the comments identified during the launch of the heat supply, 19 repair teams are on duty.

At the Ekibastuz thermal power plant, 4 boilers are ready for operation (3 power and 1 hot water). By October 10, 2 more hot water boilers will be put into operation and the remaining 4 boilers will be completed by the end of October.

First of all, by launching boilers at the Ekibastuz thermal power plant, it is planned to launch heat supply to social facilities. Then, within two weeks, it is planned to provide heat supply to all multi-storey residential buildings, after which they will start connecting

private sector houses.

-The heating should be switched on according to the schedule. A sharp increase in load is unacceptable when many buildings are connected at the same time. Adjustment and balancing of the system is necessary. We will monitor these events at the operational headquarters," the governor of the region noted.

The operational headquarters under the leadership of the head of the region will work daily to coordinate actions to ensure sustainable heat supply and maintain the necessary parameters in Ekibastuz.
