Preparations for the upcoming heating season in Ekibastuz were checked by the head of the region Asain Baykhanov
Repairs at the Ekibastuz thermal power plant are on schedule. As of today, 3 power boilers are ready for operation, 3 more hot water boilers will be ready before the start of the heating season. Repairs on the remaining 4 boilers are scheduled to be completed by the end of October.
The reconstruction of 3 heating mains along Abaya Street (from SOSH No. 4 to Margulan Street) has been fully completed. These 3 highways have been tested by high pressure and are being flushed.
Today, the tests of the TM-2 highway on M. Zhusupa Street (from mag. Dostyk to ost . Cinema "Kazakhstan"). Here there was a breakdown of the connection of the stuffing box compensator at the junction of the new and old pipes of the heat main. The pipes of the heat main were not damaged, the oil seal was squeezed out at the junction with the old pipe. Until tomorrow afternoon, the defect will be eliminated, after which testing and flushing of this backbone network will continue.
- It is necessary to conduct explanatory work on the ongoing work. New networks are tested under high pressure to identify vulnerabilities at the junctions of old and new pipes and immediately correct the identified defects. Such situations are possible, our task now is to eliminate them promptly," the governor of the region stressed.
After spring and autumn hydraulic tests on the heat supply networks, a total of 388 damages were eliminated. According to the newly received appeals of residents of the city, the replacement of the 14 remaining defective sections of the intra-block heating networks continues.
Of the 690 MZHD, 665 houses are fully ready to receive heat. Repair of internal heating systems, flushing, and crimping is being completed at 25 MZhD.
- It is planned to start the heating season in Ekibastuz from October 1. All work on the preparation for the reception of heat must be completed on time and with maximum quality. Utilities should switch to round-the-clock operation. It's one thing to start the heat supply, but balancing the system is no less important.
On the part of the heat engineers and the city housing inspection department, coordinated work is needed to set up internal heat supply systems and equalize hydraulic parameters, especially at the end houses," Asain Baykhanov said.
The head of the region also instructed to prepare design and estimate documentation for the reconstruction of the TM-1 and TM-3 thermal highways, where there was a rush earlier on the site on M. Zhusupa Street, this highway was built back in 1973. During the work, experts revealed there thinning of the metal pipes up to 3 mm.
In addition, Asain Baykhanov instructed to build a new TM 7/1 highway by the end of the year. This will eliminate the unbalancing of the city's heat supply system when one district is overheated, and the second does not receive additional heat.
The construction of a new backup main of process water from the pumping station of the second lift to the Ekibastuz CHP is continuing. Earthworks are underway, a network is being installed, and shut-off valves are expected to be delivered. All work is planned to be completed by the end of the year.
- The issue of heat supply of the city worries every Ekibastuz. Our task is to carry out all the necessary work and do them conscientiously, so that the warmth and comfort in the houses become proof of our joint work with you," the head of the region said, addressing the heat engines and contractors.
