Cableway Has Been Launched

 

Pavlodar Oblast Akim Bulat Bakauov has visited the object during his working trip to Bayanaul District. On Myrzashoky Mountain they have completed the installation of the cableway and are ready to meet the first tourists this winter. According to the main operator Medet Zhetpysbayev, up to 600 people can climb to the top of the mountain using a cableway.

“The length of the cableway is 960 meters, 63 double seats are fixed on it,” – he noted. – “Depending on the set speed it will take 11 to 24 minutes to travel by a cableway. To ensure safety, on the road they have installed the indicators fixing the wind velocity. In case, it is 25 meters per second, the rise to the top stops. In addition, as a backup power here is provided by a diesel generator.”

In addition to the cableway, builders have already built utility rooms. Furthermore, for the future guests of the base, they have purchased sports equipment.

“If earlier they came to Bayanaul only in summer, now they will rest here in winter,” – the Oblast Head noted. – “Now they are finishing the reconditioning of the road leading to Bayanaul is being renovated, which allows tourists to more comfortably reach our ski resort.”

The new base in Bayanaul District can receive up to 5 thousand guests per day. There are plans to open dozens of new jobs for local residents.
