Preparations for the upcoming heating season in Ekibastuz were checked by the head of the region, Asain Baykhanov

Repair work at the Ekibastuz thermal power plant is going on without lagging behind schedule. Three power and three hot water boilers will be ready by the end of September. The repair of the remaining 4 boilers is scheduled to be completed by the end of October.

Along with the renovation of the CHP equipment, work is underway on time to reconstruct the heating mains. It is planned to complete the work in full by September 22.

Also, the akim of the region checked the readiness of residential buildings to receive heat. In 665 houses out of 690 apartmen houses, all preparatory measures have been carried out - flushing and crimping of heating systems, etc. It is planned to complete the remaining houses by the end of this week.

- I want to remind you once again that the issues of preparation for the upcoming heating season should be a priority for the akims of cities and districts of the region, and are under my special control, - Asain Baykhanov stressed.

Also, the akim of the region met with residents of two apartment buildings, who voiced their questions about the upcoming heating season, further improvement of their yards, etc. The head of the region instructed the akim of Ekibastuz to work out all these issues with the relevant services.

In addition, the head of the region visited schools No. 10 and 23, where one school requires major repairs of the roof and assembly hall, and in the other – replacement of windows, doors and the installation of a sports ground. Relevant documentation is being prepared for all projects. Asain Baykhanov instructed the Department of Education to take these projects under control and ensure their implementation next year.
