Akim of the region paid a working visit to Ekibastuz

The head of the region inspected the progress of repair work at the CHP and heating mains of the city of miners, and also checked the readiness of social facilities.

Interim results of the work were summed up at a meeting on preparation for the heating season in Ekibastuzteploenergo LLP. The governor of the region reminded that a new heating period will begin in a month.

- In general, the pace of preparation of heat supply facilities, residential buildings and social facilities in Ekibastuz is good. Most of the work is at the stage of completion, - said the head of the region.

At the Ekibastuz thermal power plant, work on two power boilers has been completed one hundred percent. By September 20, it is planned to deliver three more boilers.

By the beginning of the heating season, five boilers will be ready. This is enough to work at temperatures up to minus 30-32 degrees. Two more boilers – 11 and 15 – are more than 60% ready for today.

Also, contractors are completing work on heating lines 2, 5, 8 and 12, and in some areas they are already starting to restore the sites. All work on the networks, including flushing and filling of new networks, is planned to be completed by September 22.

Of the 119 damages identified by the results of hydraulic tests, 96 were eliminated. The remaining work will be completed by September 20.

The akim of the region instructed the heat engineers and state agencies to keep the issue of preparation for the heating season under special control, to ensure the completion of all repair work on the heating networks of the city and Ekibastuz CHP in due time.
