Akim of the region congratulated the miners of Ekibastuz on the Miner's Day

Traditionally, Miner's Day is celebrated on the last Sunday of August. The official professional holiday was approved in August 1947. At the same time, the title of "Honorary Miner" was established.

Solemn events were held in Ekibastuz in honor of the professional holiday of coal miners. Akim of the region Asain Baykhanov warmly congratulated the miners.

– The development of Ekibastuz is directly related to the development of the coal industry. The profession of miners and miners is invaluable for our region. And this work requires maximum endurance, courage and dedication. Several generations of this glorious profession have already been replaced in the mining capital. We will always remember the labor exploits of Ekibastuz miners. I wish you good health, peace, family well-being and significant labor achievements.

The employees of the sections who distinguished themselves during the year were awarded badges, certificates of honor, letters of thanks.

Local artists and Kazakh and foreign pop stars presented their concert numbers to the miners.
