Horse racing competitions were held in Pavlodar

Today, the 6th qualifying round of the Republic of Kazakhstan for baiga was held at the Kulager racetrack in Pavlodar.

About 46 participants from different regions of the country took part in the tournament, who competed at the stages of "Kunan baiga", "Top baiga" and "Alaman baiga".

The winners of the tournament were athletes from Almaty, Pavlodar, East Kazakhstan, Abai and Zhambyl regions.

Akim of Pavlodar region Asain Baykhanov visited the event and congratulated the winners.

— Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev pays special attention to the development of national sports.

The main purpose of holding such competitions in the Pavlodar Irtysh region is to promote national sports, raise the level of traditional equestrian competitions, and form a healthy lifestyle among the younger generation. I congratulate the winners and wish them to achieve new successes," the head of the region said.
