The akimat of the region discussed the construction of new facilities in the Dostyk microdistrict

Earlier, the head of the region instructed to develop an architectural and planning solution for the construction of an ice arena and a multifunctional complex for holding creative and cultural events.

 For the construction of an ice palace on 20,000 sq . m. An area of 3.4 hectares has already been identified for hockey, short track and speed skating. The project of the multifunctional complex includes a concert hall for 1200 seats.

 New projects are planned to be implemented in 2024-2025 thanks to the mechanism of public-private partnership and attraction of investments.

 - Residents of the region have been raising these issues for a long time, especially since the development of sports and cultural education are among the priorities of state policy, - said the head of the region Asain Baykhanov.

The akim of the region instructed the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning to develop a conceptual plan for each object by September 1, 2023, the Department of Economy and Budget Planning, together with industry departments, to consider options for financing these projects.
