Akim of the region Asain Baykhanov visited school No. 5 of the city of Pavlodar, where the building is being overhauled. Doors and floor coverings are replaced here, walls are finished, heat and power supply networks are updated. The assembly and sports halls were also renovated.

As of today, there is a backlog in terms of work completion at the facility. In total, out of 15 schools in Pavlodar, where major repairs are being carried out this year, there are risks of not being on time for 3 facilities: secondary schools No. 2, 5, 14. At the same time, contractors of schools No. 2 and No. 14 have already increased the pace and are now working in an enhanced mode. Secondary School No. 5 also promises to meet the deadline, increase the number of workers at the facility and work in several shifts.

The head of the region instructed state agencies to take these works under special control and ensure the timely start of the school year. Otherwise, administrative measures will be taken against the contractors (revocation of the license and recognition as unfair).

Also, Asain Baykhanov instructed to calculate the volume of necessary repairs of asphalt pavement on the territory of schools in three cities of the region and to carry out these works next year following the example of kindergartens of the regional center. Recall that this year the asphalting of the territories of 43 preschool institutions of the city of Pavlodar is underway.
