“In order to be equal partners, non-governmental organizations need to stop relying only on state budget funds and improve their professionalism,” – the Oblast Head said at a civil forum. – “Joint activities of the state and NGOs should be result-oriented,” – the Oblast Akim Bulat Bakauov said.
The solution of specific social problems and problems, and not holding flash mobs should be the goal of our joint activities. To work more effectively with NGOs in the region, the House of Non-Governmental Organizations of the Oblast will open in the region by the end of the year. Both the associations themselves, as well as initiative citizens and volunteers will be able to use its services.
As the Oblast Head noted, the majority of regional NGOs is characterized by initiative and hard work. Such qualities can lead to positive results in work. However, there are a number of difficulties. Currently, in rural areas, non-governmental organizations are developing much less than in urban areas. This is due to the lack of specialists and professionalism among the staff. To resolve the situation, the Akimats of the Oblasts were entrusted with the task of finding and supporting the most active NGOs, especially among youth organizations. As Bulat Bakauov informed, some organizations work not for solving social problems of society, but for disbursing budget funds. At the same time, there are NGOs in the region that implement social projects without financial support from the state. Since the “Club of Good People of Pavlodar” from the beginning of the year has provided assistance in the amount of KZT 143 million.

“Deeds of admiration are worthy when Pavlodar people donated apartments and houses to help those in need,” – the Head of the region communicated,. – “From social networks, we are familiar with only a small fraction of their good deeds. We do not even know them all by sight, but they help someone every day.” He also thanked the veterans of the Afghan war and the participants of local wars, the fighting brotherhood of soldiers-internationalists engaged in the patriotic education of the younger generation.
“Today, we can safely say that our NGOs took place as an equal and mature partner and participant in all the processes taking place in our society,” -Bulat Bakauov said. – “Only in such close cooperation, we will successfully achieve all the goals.”
