Due to the multitude of lightning discharges on the territory of the Pavlodar region, several fires occurred in the steppe forest areas in the Shcherbaktinsky district and the Akkula district. The situation is complicated by hot, dry weather and heavy winds.

Akim of the region Asain Baykhanov and the leadership of the Department of Emergency Situations flew to the site to monitor and assess the situation.

The necessary measures will be organized there to localize the fires and prevent further spread of the fire.
