Today, Akim of the region Asain Baykhanov conducted a flyby of the floodplain area near the regional center, the city of Aksu, as well as the districts of Aktogay and Terenkol

Environmental releases into the floodplain of the Irtysh River amounted to 4.11 billion m3 of water, which made it possible to flood 40% of the floodplain, and the massifs north of Pavlodar up to 60%.

At the same time, this creates a favorable environment for the reproduction of bloodsuckers, therefore, a disinsection campaign against midges has already been launched in some areas of the region.

Special attention is paid to the regions of Aktogay and Terenkol, where 33.5 thousand people are subject to aircraft processing. Ha of floodplain territories. The calculation of the number of departures and the application of drugs takes place when accompanied by a scientific group.

In the Aktogay district, 32 departures are planned for spraying a biological drug, air treatments have been started since May 6. As of today, 6.5 thousand hectares of floodplain have been processed. Additionally, the edges of the coastline were processed by land and foot. Similar work is being carried out in the Terenkol district, where 6 thousand hectares of floodplain territory have been processed. A total of 28 flights are planned.
