Don't build castles in the air: Asain Baykhanov on the lack of a clear plan for the development of tourism in the region
Today, the Governor's Office of Pavlodar region discussed the implementation of the regional employment map and preparations for the opening of the tourist season.
Since the beginning of the year, a regional employment map has been approved and is in effect in the region, according to which it is planned to employ 25 thousand unemployed people.
Almira Disyupova, Head of the Department for the Coordination of Employment and Social Programs, reported on the results of the implementation and the measures taken.
- According to the results of the first quarter, about 7.0 thousand new jobs were created, which is 4634 more jobs compared to the same period last year. As part of the implementation of the initiative of the Head of State "Creation of 100 jobs per 10 thousand population", 1,487 people were employed. As the speaker noted, special employment projects are provided for certain categories of the population.
Asain Baykhanov drew the attention of akims to personal responsibility for the implementation of planned indicators for the creation of new jobs.
- It is necessary to ensure the high-quality execution of all KPIs within the framework of the Roadmap for the implementation of the pre-election program of the Head of State and the National Project for the Development of Entrepreneurship, the akim of the region instructed.
Preparations for the new tourist season were also discussed at the staff meeting. The head of the region critically assessed the presentation of the services provided in the resort areas, noting that the main task of the MIO in this matter is to create conditions for attracting private investment and the development of the necessary infrastructure.
- The same rolling problems. There is still no clear plan for the development of this sector in the region. What projects will be implemented – no one sees a clear picture. There is no need to build castles in the air, specifics are needed here - Asain Baykhanov demanded.
The akim of the region instructed the head of the UPIIR to prepare a presentation plan for the development of the tourism industry for the next 3-5 years with the definition of a pool of key projects and submit it for discussion within a month. Also, until June 1, it is necessary to ensure high-quality preparation and improvement of tourist visiting places.
