Two Unique Enterprises Were Launched in Pavlodar Oblast

The Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev took part in the nationwide teleconference “The Second Five-Year Plan of Industrialization. Made in Kazakhstan.” The President of Kazakhstan noted the key role of the industrialization program in the process of creating a sustainable and diversified economy of the country and separately focused on the specific results of its implementation.

“During the years of industrialization, we launched 1250 new enterprises, 100 of which were launched only this year. More than 300 thousand jobs were created. Today, 110 countries in the world consume our products. In recent years, we have begun to produce more than 500 types of products not manufactured in Kazakhstan, and to export about 50 new types of goods,” – said the Head of State.

The first block “Industrial gap” included seven enterprises of the industrial sector, including the production of railway wheels in Ekibastuz. As part of a teleconference in honour of the Industrialization Day, Nursultan Nazarbayev launched the production of railway wheels and the mining farm in Ekibastuz. A plant with a capacity of 200000 railway wheels per year was launched at the premises of Prommashkomplekt, LLP. A high-tech project worth 54 billion tenge is aimed at import substitution.

“When entering the production capacity, the staff of Prommashkomplekt will be more than one thousand people,” – Daulet Syzdykov, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, addressed the Head of State. – “Two-thirds of the products will be supplied to foreign markets. Nursultan Abishevich, it is a great honour for us that it is you who will give the command to start a new complex.”

“The production of wheels for trains was our import position,” – the President noted. – “This is a new word in the industrialization of our country. To all workers, builders, installers and operators I declare big thanks and wish you great success. Let’s start the enterprise, and let people start working, producing products.”Immediately after the official startup, a demonstration of the wheel production cycle took place at the plant. Ekibastuz railway wheel manufacturing plant is the fourth of its kind in the CIS and the only countries in Central Asia. The company is fully equipped with modern European equipment. The company purchases raw materials for production from the Russian Taganrog Metallurgical Plant, OAO, but in the future, it intends to cooperate with KSP Steel LLP.
