Dear countrymen!

I cordially congratulate the Orthodox Christians and all the inhabitants of Pavlodar Irtysh Land with a great and bright holiday – Merry Christmas!

For many centuries, this holiday brings peace and good, happy thoughts and deeds. Christmas is a celebration of good hopes and expectations. It unites people in their desire to live in peace and harmony. We are proud and cherish these eternal values, because Christmas in our multi-ethnic and multi-religious country is a common bright holiday for all Kazakhstanis, regardless of ethnic or religious background.

Respect for the religious feelings of citizens, toleration, tolerance are the basis of the policy pursued by the Head of our state Nursultan Nazarbayev. Thanks to this, peace and harmony reign in Kazakhstan, a distinctive culture develops, the age-old traditions of our people are preserved and transmitted to the future generation. Today, 151 religious associations of 13 different confessions, including 24 Orthodox parishes, operate in the Pavlodar region. All of them coexist in an atmosphere of mutual understanding, mutual respect and harmony. We have entered the new 2019 year. Let this year be marked by good, prosperity and confidence in the future.
