Akim of Pavlodar Oblast visited the “Aluminstroy” residents, who in December last year received apartments in a new house in “Saryarka” micro-district. Moreover, Bulat Bakauov held a meeting with the residents of the district, where the issues of building up the regional centre and further relocation of residents of the dilapidated two-floor buildings were raised.
Last Saturday, the head of the region visited the residents of the house No. 97/3 on Pavlov Street. Recall, this house was built specifically for the settlers of “Aluminstroy”, but among them, there were those who refused to change their dilapidated housing for a new one. People refer to the coldness in the apartments and poor-quality construction, but those who today live in the new building are happy with everything.
“As long as my children and grandchildren lived in the old two-story building, we were tormented,” – says Anna Pavletsova.- “Our ceilings flowed, they literally rot. Now we live and forget about all the problems. The house is warm and cosy – and this is the most important thing for us.”

Residents of other houses who once refused to move to new houses agree with this opinion.
“I lived in an old house for 44 years and all this time I was afraid that the tenants from the second floor would fall to their neighbours from the first floor,” – recalls Ekaterina Petrova. – “Thank God that we, at last, were resettled.”

By the way, it often happens that one of eight families does not want to leave the reed dwelling. The same happens in the house № 164 on Aсademician Chokin Street, where residents of only one apartment refuse to move to a high-rise building under construction nearby, as they consider the exchange is unequal. In other apartments, they are ready to move and they demand to influence their neighbours.
“Residents of one house must agree among themselves,” – says the Oblast Akim. -“If the owners of at least one apartment do not agree to leave, we cannot forcibly endure them.”

The meeting of Bulat Bakauov with the residents of the micro-district was held in Abuseitov cultural and leisure centre. Everyone could ask a question. During the dialogue, the head of the region offered to distribute apartments that were not distributed among displaced persons under the “7-20-25” program.
