Akim of Pavlodar Oblast began to hear his deputies and heads of regional departments on plans for 2019. Of the major projects in the region, the repair of the old bridge over the Irtysh was planned, work on the construction of a concert hall in the regional centre will begin, and in the special economic zone Pavlodar, they plan to start work on 16 projects at once.

Bulat Bakauov held the first workshop with his first deputy Ulan Zhazylbek and heads of the departments that he oversees – the department of architecture and urban planning, the department of construction, the department of passenger transport and highways, the department of state architectural and construction control. It became known that a major overhaul of the old bridge over the Irtysh was scheduled for this year. It is for this reason that today the issue of closing the overpass for multi-ton trucks is being resolved.

“The passage of trucks across the river will be carried out via the new Nurlyzhol bridge,” the first deputy head of the region noted. “After the repair work is completed, the movement for trucks through the old overpass will be resumed, according to regulations”.

In addition, the Oblast Akim raised the question of restoring empty four-story houses in the village of Kalkaman. This year it is planned to put in order two houses. All the documentation work for this has been done, and the necessary funds from the Republican budget have already been allocated.

“There are similar abandoned houses in other villages of our region: Krasnoarmeyka, Michurino, Chernoyarka,” – said Bulat Bakauov. “We need to consider the possibility of giving such houses to private owners so that they restore them. In addition, we must not forget about the individual housing construction. It is necessary to do so that people do not have difficulty in building a private house. To do this, you need to develop the simplest and most understandable algorithm, according to which everyone can build their housing.

49.5 billion tenge is provided for the repair and maintenance of roads in 2019. Apart from the fact that the reconstruction of the Centre-East corridor is planned to be completed, the region carried out major and medium repairs of 170 kilometres on 20 road sections.

In addition, the Akim of Oblast heard his deputy Zhaiyk Sharabasov and heads of departments of industrial-innovative development, entrepreneurship, industry and tourism, as well as the management of the FEZ “Pavlodar” management company.

“In 2019, 16 enterprises will start construction and assembly work in the Pavlodar free economic zone, 2 of which are transnational companies – this is ChimecS.p.A. and POSCO” – said the Head of the FEZ “Pavlodar” management company Aibek Tursyngaliev. – “The total cost of 16 projects is 137.8 billion tenge. In 2019, 6 projects will be introduced and about 44.4 billion tenge mastered”.

Bulat Bakauov instructed to monitor the implementation of the agreements by the residents of the FEZ and not to allow the areas allocated in the special zone not to stand idle. In addition, the Head of Oblast instructed to work with small and medium-sized businesses, carrying out explanatory work on measures of state support for entrepreneurs more actively.
