In the New Composition

The Public Council of Pavlodar region in its current composition has worked for three years. During this time, according to the Head of Oblast, Bulat Bakauov, members of the council have done a great job.

“Congratulations to all of you with the election of a new composition of the public council,” – he said, speaking during a session of the regional Maslikhat. – “The significance and necessity of the public council in increasing civic activism of the population are felt by everyone. This is a good dialogue platform, a real indicator of the strength of the civilian sector. For local executive bodies, feedback with the population is important, and today we can safely say that whatever question is addressed by the public council, it is aimed at taking care of the comfortable living of the population”.

The public council included 26 people. These are employees of non-governmental and party organizations, government and representative bodies, as well as honorary citizens of the region. The updated council will begin work in February.
