There are four private houses left to connect to the heat supply in Ekibastuz

To date, there has been no heating in 18 private houses, by the end of the day it is planned to provide heat to 14 of them. Thus, only four households will remain connected. This was announced by the akim of Ekibastuz at a meeting of the operational headquarters, held under the leadership of the head of the Pavlodar region.

Today, all high-rise buildings of the city are provided with heat, hot and cold water. Unfortunately, due to the work on re-cutting and elimination of minor gusts on the intra-block networks, individual groups of houses have to be alternately disconnected from the heat supply. But these forced procedures are only temporary, repairs are carried out urgently, and the heat returns to the houses as quickly as possible.

- At the same time, work has begun on compensation for damage to residents. The search of the affected apartments continues according to the submitted applications. In 53 dwellings, as planned, repair work has already begun. Minor damages were found in 121 apartments, but they will also be eliminated," Ayan Beisekin said.

According to the head of the regional Department of Education Samal Aitkazina, 45 out of 65 educational institutions fully maintain the required temperature regime. In other organizations, heat supply systems are being balanced, after which the temperature in the premises will be brought up to the standard.

At the same time, all medical facilities are operating normally. According to the head of the health department Aidar Sitkazinov, 326 patients, including 85 children, are being treated at the city hospital. 26 patients of the mental health center relocated to Pavlodar are scheduled to be returned to Ekibastuz on December 19.

Leonid Yanushko, Deputy Chairman of the Board of CAEC JSC, informed the regional leadership that two more boilers are planned to be put into operation at Ekibastuz thermal power plant within two days to increase productivity and normalize the station's activities.

- Now the primary task is to ensure the stable operation of the CHP, - said the head of the region. – After starting the necessary boilers and stabilizing the operation of the station, we will make a decision on the transition of social facilities to offline mode.

Asain Baykhanov instructed the city's leadership, in addition to the heat situation, to keep issues of water supply and uninterrupted power supply under strict control, as well as respond to complaints from residents in a timely manner.
