The American company "MK Industries" offers to implement a project in the Pavlodar region

The head of the region Abylkair Skakov met with the general director of the enterprise Ali Katut. The parties discussed the details of the implementation of the project for the production of semi-finished products from potatoes.

 MK Industries is a diversified company cooperating with more than 30 countries. Investors propose a project for the construction of four warehouses for storing raw materials and the production of frozen French fries in the city of Aksu. According to CEO Ali Katut, the total investment will amount to 20 million US dollars. In addition to providing the domestic market, products can be exported.

 – Our company is interested in cooperation with potato growers in your region. We plan to process 100 thousand tons of potatoes, – the investor addressed.

 Akim of the region noted the importance of using new technologies and scientific and applied research in production, which will help to develop and improve potato production indicators.

 — Pavlodar region is a leader in growing and selling potatoes. This year its volumes have increased to 766 thousand tons. The experience of cooperation with your company will be useful for us. We are ready to provide support for the implementation of joint goals and objectives," Abylkair Skakov said.

 The foreign company plans to use equipment from Belgium and China in production. In addition, the possibility of cooperation in the field of animal husbandry, grain cultivation and feed production is being considered.
