The center for children with autism spectrum disorders will be opened in Pavlodar by the end of the year

It will cover more than a hundred children. The reconstruction of the building for a new rehabilitation center was checked by the akim of the region Abylkair Skakov. The head of the region also got acquainted with the improvement of the embankment on Usolka and city squares.

The day care center for children with autism spectrum disorders is being set up in a former administrative building on 6 Dzhambulskaya Street. It is designed for 110 visitors, for whom there are games and sensory rooms, sewing, pottery and carpentry workshops. The institution is now completing finishing work.

– The main repairs must be completed by the end of November. Then we have to import furniture and equipment. We need to speed up the work and control its quality. In December, the center should already receive children," the mayor instructed Almira Disyupova, head of the Department for the Coordination of Employment and Social Programs.

By the end of November, they promised to complete the landscaping of the Dostyk square at the intersection of Kairbayev – M.Zhusup streets. Work there is lagging behind schedule. As the mayor of the city Assain Baykhanov assured, it remains to complete the lighting.

A football field, children's and sports grounds appeared on the site of a vacant lot in the Second Pavlodar microdistrict. By the middle of the month, it is planned to finish laying the tartan coating in the new square.

– Only 5-6 people work. At this rate, you will not complete the work by the end of the month, as you plan, and the residents are waiting. All works on landscaping should begin at the end of April, so that residents can take advantage of new benefits by the end of summer," the governor of the region said.

Residents of the microdistrict also have comments, which they expressed directly to Abylkair Skakov.

– There used to be a natural drain here, now a new playground has disrupted its course, – residents complained.

The head of the region instructed the mayor of the city to take into account the issue of storm water systems, reminding that purchases should be started as early as possible, but not to the detriment of quality.

Centralized sewerage networks are laid in the Zelenstroy microdistrict. They will cover 12 streets, or 630 houses. Of the planned 9.6 km, 6.5 km has been made for today. The remaining volume should be completed by the middle of next year. After that, the gradual connection of houses will begin, which will allow testing the system and timely eliminating defects.

Work is also going on at an unsatisfactory pace on the embankment in the Usolsky microdistrict. Now they are making a pedestrian zone there, there are plans to build an arch with lighting. The akim of the region instructed to attract more workers, as local residents are waiting for the opening of the facility.

But the expectations of the residents of the house on Pavlova Street 102/3 diverged from reality. The long-awaited playground turned out to be of poor quality, which they wrote about in social networks to Abylkair Skakov. He drove into the yard outside of the scheduled schedule.

– It is impossible to roll down the hill, the bolts are sticking out. The carousel creaks like it's not new at all. Our children want to play on the playground, but it's like a toy," Pavlodarka shared.

Akim of the region instructed to establish the degree of integrity of the contractor and eliminate all shortcomings at the very beginning of the next construction season. Outside of the plan, Abylkair Skakov also checked the repair of water supply networks at the intersection of Mashkhur Zhusup and Lermontov streets. The project is nearing completion. The next task of contractors is to connect homes to new networks. The akim of the region instructed to carry out these works qualitatively before the first decade of December.
