The head of Pavlodar region instructed to complete the reconstruction of 1 city hospital ahead of schedule

A high-tech complex similar to the republican clinics is planned to be launched on the basis of the first city hospital. Abylkair Skakov got acquainted with the reconstruction of the health facility.

Pavlodar City Hospital No. 1 has been undergoing a comprehensive reconstruction since July of this year. The windows, the facade of the building are being updated and the interior decoration of the premises is being carried out. According to Zhenis Nugymanov, vice-president of the contracting organization Bazis Construction LLP, the total duration of the work is 19 months. 

– It is planned to complete the facade by 80% by the end of the year. Installation of windows by 90%, construction of blocks G and D by 65%, – the contractor reported.

There will be a day hospital and a check-up center in two blocks, 11 operating rooms on the second floor. After the reconstruction, it is planned to supply high-tech medical equipment, which will allow for 3-4 operations at the same time. And for an accurate diagnosis, they plan to install a monoplane angiograph. According to the chief physician of the city hospital No. 1, Nurlan Zhumazhanov, a separate bathroom will be installed in each ward for a comfortable stay of patients.

– All doctors will undergo special training for further work in the new conditions, – said the head of the medical institution.  – The uniqueness of the modernization of a medical institution in a hybrid operating room.

As the head of the region stressed, the complete modernization of the first city hospital will create conditions for highly specialized medical care, as in republican clinics. Now the medical institution provides standard specialized care.

– This is a socially important project for the region. Since the construction, the hospital has not undergone a comprehensive reconstruction, – said Abylkair Skakov. – In fact, we are creating a hospital of a new level and generation, so the responsibility will be very high. The main task is to increase the availability, quality and timing of medical care to the population.

At the same time, repairs in the hospital do not interfere with the provision of medical services. All units are repaired in stages, the bed stock is fully preserved.

 

The governor of the region instructed to complete the entire project as gradually as possible by the end of 2023. The head of the health department and the first deputy akim of the region need to check the progress of work every 10 days.
