Akim of Pavlodar region handed over the keys to six new SUVs to fire departments

Today Kazakhstan celebrates the Day of the Rescuer. Akim of the region Abylkair Skakov congratulated the employees of the fire and water rescue services, civil defense on their professional holiday and handed over the keys to new fire engines

According to Zhasulan Dzhumashev, head of the Department for Emergency Situations, among the six acquisitions is special equipment for rural areas. This is a cross-country vehicle - both for working in the forest and in the steppe. New tank trucks based on Ural and KamAZ vehicles have high cross-country ability. Also, 200 new sets of firefighters were bought for firefighters, it became possible to equip fire brigades with heat-reflecting suits for working at elevated temperatures. Next year, they plan to purchase AL-32 ladders for over 280 million tenge.

 - Over the past three years, 1.2 billion tenge has been allocated from the regional budget to strengthen the material and technical base of civil protection bodies. This is more than 200 units of machinery and equipment," the regional akim recalled. – The use of modern technology is important, but the saved human lives are the professionalism of specialists like you.

Over the years of independence, over 13 thousand people have been rescued during rescue operations, 29 thousand people have been evacuated, medical assistance has been provided to over 3.5 thousand victims. Since the beginning of the year, 140 people, including 10 children, have been rescued by the DES staff.

 - Without exaggeration, your mission is very important, - the head of the region emphasized. You are always the first to come to the aid of people in need. With your courage and perseverance, you prove every day that there are no random people among the rescuers. This is a true calling for you. On this festive day, on behalf of all our countrymen, I want to express my deep gratitude for your everyday heroism and work.

Abylkair Skakov awarded especially distinguished rescuers with Letters of Appreciation. In addition, a resident of Pavlodar, Idrak Alizada, was awarded the medal “Orttegi batyldygy ushin” for saving lives and showing courage, and senior police sergeant Azamat Sayanov was awarded the medal “For water rescue”.

 

In honor of the Day of the Rescuer of the Republic of Kazakhstan, departmental awards and diplomas marked the work of the best employees of the civil protection authorities of the region. The solemn event continued with a concert. Artists of the regional philharmonic society named after Isa Bayzakov and the dance ensemble "Sherniyaz" performed for the guests.
