Meetings with the population in an expanded format continue in the Pavlodar region. Residents of Aksu asked their urgent questions directly to the head of the region this time. In particular, they concerned infrastructure development, environmental issues and heat supply.

The basis of the city's economy is the industrial sector. In the last three years alone, the volume has grown 1.3 times. Agriculture is developing successfully. Today Aksu is the leader in the availability of modern vegetable storages.

Rental housing is being built at a high rate. For the first time in 30 years, annual volumes amounted to almost 57 thousand sq.m. 8 multi-storey buildings were commissioned in three years. It is planned to hand over another 144-apartment building.  The share of provision of clean drinking water has reached 95%. The indicator for roads of regional significance has been brought to 94.5%. The head of the region instructed Aksu Akim to continue working to improve socio–economic indicators.

– It is necessary to increase the number of SMEs. Providing children with additional education remains important," Abylkair Skakov stressed. – I instruct to continue the work of mobile Employment Centers, to provide at least 140 grants under the Enbek program, to control prices for socially significant food products and to provide solid fuel to the residents of villages in a timely manner.

Earlier, heads of regional administrations visited 31 rural localities of Aksu. Of the 187 issues voiced by the population, most are related to improving infrastructure, social support and entrepreneurship development.

During an hour and a half meeting with the akim of the region, local residents also raised topical issues. Representatives of the Aksu public are concerned about the long-standing issue of the environmental friendliness of a dairy farm. The head of the region instructed the authorized bodies to conduct a thorough inspection of the facility.

The governor of the region said that a technical audit will be conducted in the near future, after which appropriate measures will be taken. At the same time, as Abylkair Skakov stressed, the existing boiler house of the AZF copes with the technical regime and load. Residents of Aksu will not be left without heat.

Also at the meeting, the local aksakal complained about the lack of improvement of the private sector. After listening to the request, immediately after the meeting, the head of the region visited this neighborhood.

– The situation requires a meeting with the residents of these streets, a joint discussion of their problems and finding solutions, – said Abylkair Skakov. – Akim Aksu needs to restore order and eliminate the identified shortcomings.

A number of other issues related to the renewal of engineering infrastructure, public transport, highways, the transition to a new form of home management and education of the younger generation. At the end of the meeting, Abylkair Skakov held a personal reception of citizens.
