The first PHC center opened in Pavlodar region

Almost 20 thousand Pavlodar residents will get access to modern medical care. The population is provided with various medical services from the detection of diseases to treatment in day hospitals. Abylkair Skakov got acquainted with the progress of work of the first PHC center in the region.

The new PHC center is designed for 150 visits per shift. According to Kuanysh Nysanbekov, chief physician of the branch of Almaz Medical Group LLP, the opening of a medical facility will provide the population with high-quality and prompt medical services a step away from home.

- The organization is equipped with the latest equipment. Residents will be able to receive modern medical care within walking distance. The elderly population of the region is especially pleased with this, for whom it was difficult to get to the clinic, - the head physician shared.

After examining the center, Abylkair Skakov once again emphasized that ensuring the proximity of medical services and the quality of PHC should be a priority in the formation of the entire healthcare system in the region.

- The example of this center should be adopted by other polyclinics of the region. It has all the conditions that should be - affordable medical services and quality service. The most important thing is that they are within walking distance, - the regional akim noted.

The bed fund of the day hospital is 12 beds, including therapeutic and gynecological profiles. The center employs 26 qualified specialists, including 11 doctors. To date, more than 13 thousand people have joined the polyclinic. Their number is expected to rise to 20,000.
